News-bert 06/09/08 - New Norberts up from MoCCA!  Wow - the site's been up over a year now! 06/02/08 - Over at Newsarama, my comics news site and bulletin board of choice, they have an art thread where the contributng artists do art on a specific topic. Well this week, Norbert is the subject of the group.  The artists will all be drawing and commenting on our own little fuzzy blank slate.  There's already a couple of winners on the thread; go check it out here! 06/01/08 - New Norberts up from Wizard World Philly!  Volume Three is complete, Volume Four is now under construction. 05/01/08 - Norbert on YouTube!  Recent visitor to the site Russ Rogers took Rick Geary's Norbert and animated it!  Check it out here! 04/21/08 - Brand New Norberts from the New York Comic-Con!  We're now at 300 members! Also, Jim Lee and Aaron Lopresti have both confirmed their sketches, so I can officially welcome them to the Conspiracy. Also, Conspirator Colleen Doran remembered who drew the Norbert right after hers (when I couldn't); It's Martin Wagner, Hepcats fame. Welcome, Martin! 02/27/08 - A new Lost Artist has been found. Belated welcome to British Artist Anthony Williams Also, New Norberts from the Big Apple Con now available.  See you all at the New York Comic-Con! 09/10/07 - New Norberts from the Baltimore Comic-Con now available We got almost 100 sketches for the Ringo Project, resulting in 6 20X30 boards full of Mike's convention sketches.  They were on display at Baltimore at the Human Society booth.  Thanks to all who contributed. 08/16/07 - A lot of Lost Artists have been found of late: Phil Hester did one at Chicago back in '93 Paul Pelletier did this one - the character from Batman and the Outsiders shoulda been a clue, huh? I've had two people say this is Michael Allred, and I'm waiting to hear from him to verify. After about five people have SWORN this is Jim Lee; I'm gonna take their word for it, till I can verify at Baltimore.  Jeez, you'd THINK I'd remember getting a Jim Lee sketch, wouldn't you? And for the record, I'm pretty sure this is Aaron Lopresti, but I'm waiting till I get confirmation from him. 08/13/07 - Comic artist and Conspirator Mike Wieringo passed away from a heart attack this weekend.  I have started The 'Ringo Project to create a memorial collage of his convention sketches in time for the Baltimore Comic-Con. Click here for more info. 07/04/07 - After a few stream-of consciousness-tangent web searches, one of the Lost Artists has been identified as Brian Douglas Ahern. Apologies to Brian for my sieve-like brain, and my not having a single back issue of the CBG around to look him up in. 06/30/07 - Conspirator Val Semeiks has supplied the first Virtual Norbert via e-mail!  This is obviously a trend that needs to continue... Hi Vinnie, That's quite the collection of Norberts you have there. I think you may have the market cornered. Here's another one for your collection.
