The 'Ringo Project

Comic artist and Conspirator Mike Wieringo
passed away from a heart attack on 8/12/07.
I have started The 'Ringo Project to create a
memorial collage of his convention sketches in
time for the
Baltimore Comic-Con.
Please donate copies of any con sketches
you've gotten from Mike here.
Either send the scan itself, or a link to it if
it's online. The higher res the better, to
allow for better copying and printing.
If Mike's Artists' Alley
table is left empty, it'll be laid there;
otherwise I'll get it to the Concom to present
to his family.
If anyone has any ideas on how to make the
project more special, let me know.

NEW NEWS - On a related note, Matt Wieman of
Mainstay Studios was
working on an "Art of Mike Wieringo" book with
Mike, which had been accepted for publication by
Image. He has requested any copies of
these sketches be sent to him as well, for inclusion in the book.
If you wish to contribute to that project too,
either let me know it's okay to pass the sketch
on to him, or if you've already submitted one,
send him a copy at
matt@mainstaystudio.com.
